CBSE has introduced Food Production as a skill subject in class IX. It has been designed for students to have a knowledge & understanding of the methods or processes of cookery & to be aware of the simple scientific, artistic & commercial implications to be considered regarding food preparation. Cooking Without Fire was the first project organised by the school to provide an insight about the subject. The students had hands –on experience by preparing nutritious shake, breadrolls, chocolates, coconut sweets etc. The imagination & ingenuity of students was reflected when they presented their recipes in artistic way. The Principal appreciated & encouraged the students for their initiative.
